Sage Green Rooms and Restored Mantels — Chattanooga, TN

Soft sage green ties this older Chattanooga home together, running from the dining room and kitchen through the hallways, bedrooms and both bathrooms. Against it, we painted the wide door casings, tall baseboards, six-panel doors and window trim in a clean white, so the original millwork reads clearly from room to room and frames the views through each doorway.

The two decorative fireplace mantels took the most care. One had chipped edges, worn paint on the shelf and loose finish around the carved appliqué; our crew masked the floor, prepped every edge and brought it back to a smooth, even white. In the bathrooms, the same green sits calmly beside dark tile. It is a quiet, consistent interior painting job where the detail work is what you notice.
