Sage Tray Ceiling Bedroom & Vaulted Living Room — Apison, TN

Two rooms in this Apison home show how far one color decision can go. The primary bedroom was painted a soft sage green, and we carried that same green up into the recessed band of the tray ceiling while keeping the ceiling field and the step of the tray a clean white. The color frames the room from above without feeling heavy, and the white six-panel doors and casings stay sharp against it.

Down the hall, the living room has a tall vaulted ceiling and a traditional white mantel with a marble surround. Here we kept the walls a warm, light neutral so the space stays bright from the single window and the patio door, with white baseboards and door casing finishing the edges. Both rooms are shown lived in, with furniture back in place after our interior painting work.
